Qualifications:

Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience OR BA/BS Degree in Agriculture, natural resources, agronomy, or related field of study

Duties:

Lead the development of a comprehensive human resources recruiting outreach database. This database will provide up to date contact information for local universities, special emphasis groups, partnering organizations, and government affiliated programs. The purpose of this database is to provide PSW leadership with the best available contacts and organizational partners to enable strategic recruitment of historically underrepresented groups; emerging leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields; Historically Black Colleges and Universities; Hispanic Serving Institutions; Native American Colleges; and other special emphasis colleges and universities.

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive human resources recruiting outreach database. This database will provide up to date contact information for local universities, special emphasis groups, partnering organizations, and government affiliated programs. The purpose of this database is to provide PSW leadership with the best available contacts and organizational partners to enable strategic recruitment of historically underrepresented groups; emerging leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields; Historically Black Colleges and Universities; Hispanic Serving Institutions; Native American Colleges; and other special emphasis colleges and universities. The selected coordinator will update the existing database with contemporary contacts and create an efficient and searchable electronic tool that is coordinated with the USFS Region 5 outreach and EEO staff, as well as the Washington Office EEO organization.   80%
  • The Coordinator will interface heavily with the PSW Community Enhancement and Diversity Team to ensure that recent recruitment focus areas are incorporated into the outreach database tool.    20%
