The Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program offers unique opportunities in Scientific, Technical, and Administrative / Office support for individuals age 55 and over to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through a grant administered program through National Older Worker Career Center (NOWCC). This is a unique program where your talents, expertise and experience will truly be valued. The EPA provides a wonderful work atmosphere, and you'll be working side-by-side with EPA staff that are doing important work every day. Pay & Benefits: Pay rate: $18.01 /hr. Benefits: Paid Health Insurance Premium, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Time, Paid Federal Holidays + One Individual Holiday, and optional Vision and Dental Insurance available. Due to COVID-19, this position is eligible for telecommuting until instructions are given on when to safely return to the EPA facility. Please note that due to EPA Policy, this opportunity only applies to United States Citizens.


Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in legal assistant work OR BA/BS Degree in Any related education Previously completed training in case management

  • Experience required with MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Copying Machine, Multiple Phone Lines
  • Microsoft Teams

Legal Analyst to provide legal and technical support to attorneys in the Legal Enforcement Branch in the Office of the Regional Counsel. Must have a deep understanding on how to institute efficient work flows, how to manage legal documents, and how to manage the daily activities, schedules and documents of legal professionals. To also provide administrative support to the attorneys and enforcement program managers.

  • Prepare pleadings and other legal documents relating to civil enforcement and litigation; accurately review, proofread and assist with any materials, including documents, reports, memos, briefings, presentations, forms and other items ensuring accuracy and completeness.   50%
  • Research and review legal issues for the attorneys using investigative and legal research tools.   20%
  • Prepare and maintain legal documents; file and archive according to appropriate regulations.   10%
  • Ensure supporting materials (agendas, signage, A-V requirements) for meetings and events are prepared accurately and provided in a timely manner; Manage calendars, including scheduling/arranging meetings, booking meeting rooms, and sending invitations and reminders when needed.   10%
  • Manage office-wide administrative functions by effectively communicating with and providing back up support to all administrative staff, as needed.   10%

  • In house training on standard operating procedures and numerous software applications and databases.
