Qualifications:

Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience OR PhD Degree in Agriculture, natural resources, agronomy or related field of study.

  • Experience with Small Area Estimation techniques, FIA data, and knowledge of the Partnership in Small Area Estimation.
  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Duties:

1) serve as member of the Executive Team for the Partnership in Small Area Estimation; 2) serve as a statistical mentor to new FIA program scientists and to undergraduates and graduate students in statistical and data science projects at universities who partner with FIA; 3) perform consultations and reviews involving the evolution of Model-assisted and Small Area Estimation techniques; and 4) assist in evaluating statistical estimation engines using FIA data.
