Qualifications:Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience OR BA/BS Degree in Agriculture, natural resources, agronomy or related field of study. - Knowledge of Canada lynx and grizzly bear management, and the requirements to complete ESA consultation.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Duties:The mentor will aid in mentoring new employees or employees early in their career on completing
resource reports and required survey methodology. - Meet with trainees to discuss and/or review resource reports and analyses to ensure resource reports meet requirements. This may occur at the District Office or virtually. 50%
- Train and/or assist trainee in completing and recording required wildlife surveys. This will likely occur in the field. 50%
Other:- Required Safety Gear: Hard hat.
- Safety Gear Use: When in the field, a hard hat must be worn.
- Physical requirements: Able to traverse uneven, steep terrain. often in inclement weather.
